Stephen Hawking died today. I nearly killed him, and he me, 15 years ago, when his wheelchair shot out between two parked cars at Cambridge, and I was on my bike. I swerved at the last moment. 100% his fault. God bless you and RIP.

Aber Parcak ist bei Weitem nicht die Einzige, die mit Rollstuhl-Rowdy Hawking Bekanntschaft machen durfte.
He ran over my foot once in the mid 90s. His mind was obviously on higher things. RIP.

He nearly ran me over just outside Senate House in Cambridge - I had to jump out of the way. He continued, unswerving at high speed.

Prof Hawking almost took my legs out once when he came tearing around the corner of Downing St onto St Andrew's St in 1999 (think there was a Heffer's there at the time). Had to jump out of the way or I would've landed in his lap! Bit of a pavement hog :-) RIP to an amazing man.

Dieser User erzählte seine Geschichte nicht zum ersten Mal:
Whenever Hawking is on TV I say "You know, that guy almost ran me over once". And I love the WTF look from anyone hearing it for the first time :) pic.twitter.com/dn1NmBWpbf

Dieser Tweet bringt es abschließend auf den Punkt:
There are many bad drivers in the world (even on wheelchairs) but only one had the cosmic mind of Stephen Hawkinh. Him. RIP
